Explore the Pushkin Museum-reserve on the bike (30-40 km).
Today we explore the National Park on the bike. Quiet side roads lead us to well preserved XVII-XIX century estates — you will recognize the settings of which you read in classical Russian books, or saw in the movies. Wooden mansions, beautiful parks, quiet alleys are in natural harmony with wheat fields, shining lakes, rolling hills, and forests.
Lunch-picnic on the way.
An hour before lunch, the guide accompanied by a driver in a minibus is moved to the place of catering. Lunch takes place in nature in the form of a picnic. Field — this is when in some place, usually by the river, where you can swim, or just in the woods, put a table on which lunch is served: soups and porridges of the “Hot mug” type, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers), sandwiches (sausage, cheese, ham, canned fish), and tea and coffee with sweets, jams and cookies.

Moving from Pushkinskie Gori to Ostrov by bike (40 — 50 km).
We will start this day on the asphalt but will soon leave it, and make our way to Ostrov on a dirt road winding among the fields and forests, along the River Velikaya (The Great), passing by old tiny villages. Ostrov was established in XIII century. In addition to the old churches and houses, the town owes its charm to unique chain bridges over River Velikaya.

Through the beautiful scenery, we ride to the Pechorsky Monastery, one of the few in Russia that remained monasteries through the Soviet era. Its colorful domes are seen from afar, and the view is often supplemented by the music of the bells. The entire monastery looks like a scene from an old Russian fairy tale.

Moving from Izborsk to Pskov by bike (40-50 km).
The quiet side roads lead us to Pskov. We hope to get there by noon, leaving some time to enjoy this lovely city. Between X and XV century Pskov was the capital of an independent feudal state, and even today we can see the traces of its glory. First, it is the white-stone Pskov Kremlin on the banks of River Velikaya. We will also see some nice wooden houses and white-stone churches all around the city.

End of the tour.
* If restrictions are imposed on the entrance to museums for a certain number of people, we can serve group requests with the division of groups into smaller ones, with the predominant use of the same transport (or with a different number and capacity of transport), but with a large number of guides.
** Some museums or excursions can be excluded from the program if circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator require it (time constraints due to covid-19 / bans on the operation of facilities). At the same time, as far as possible, we will offer an alternative replacement.
