Trekking to Sofia waterfalls.
Sofia waterfalls are significant nature sights in Arkhyz. The force of the flow variates throughout the year, the water is at its maximum height during the period of floods in July and August, when snow in the mountains begins to thaw. The falls consist of a few cascades under 100 m in height and varying in size. The roaring water mixed with crumbs of ice crashes itself against the stones and scatters into silvery dust. On bright sunny days the picture of this flying water of all colours of the rainbow is particularly stunning. The falls are the source of the Sofia River, feeding lush vegetation and copses of mountain trees.

Trekking to Semitsvetnoye Lake.
You start on an insanely beautiful route along the Bolshaya Dukka River leading you to the mountain lake called Semitsvetnoye, which is 2420 m above sea level. Mount Dukka-Bashi with its 800 meter high cliffs hovers over it, the surface of the lake being engaged in the never-ending play of colours. The lake being very deep, you can still see stones scattered at its bottom: such is the degree of the water transparency. On sunny days the lake mirrors clouds and mountains with such precision and clarity that one might take reflexions for real objects existing in the lake’s mysterious underwater world.

Excursion to Lower Arkhyz ancient town.
You will see a unique historical phenomenon; its formation fell on the period between the 10th and the 20th century. It united the ruins of the ancient city of Magas, the capital of Alania, pagan temples, graves and constructions of the 19th century made by the monks living in the Zelenchuk Desert. The settlement of the Alanian Christian diocese existed till the end of the 14th century, and only 3 churches survived till nowadays — these are cross-in-square constructions built in the Byzantine tradition in the 10th century. The territory of the ancient town is replete with historical and cultural artefacts.

Or trekking to the Dukkin Lakes.
Trip to the valley of the Malaya Dukka River to see the unique lakes which are 2300-2500 m above sea level. The colour of the first lake is sunny aquamarine, the second is moon blue, the third — sky-azure (the third lake can be difficult to reach during some periods of the season). The route goes along the calm river full of trout, which is later replaced by waterfalls hot tubs. Natural hot tubs are a true luxury and an exquisite pleasure.

* If restrictions are imposed on the entrance to museums for a certain number of people, we can serve group requests with the division of groups into smaller ones, with the predominant use of the same transport (or with a different number and capacity of transport), but with a large number of guides.
** Some museums or excursions can be excluded from the program if circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator require it (time constraints due to covid-19 / bans on the operation of facilities). At the same time, as far as possible, we will offer an alternative replacement.
